Dandy~LION Daze: A celebration for Moore High School’s 50th year

During the upcoming school year, the Moore High School Alumni Association is celebrating 50 years of Moore High School, 300 N. Eastern, and is gearing up for a community-involved carnival, Dandy~LION Daze, to kick off the 2017-2018 celebration of the milestone.

The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, at the school.

The event will feature MHS themed entertainment, performances and snacks.

A car show is also scheduled for the day, with registration set to begin at 9 a.m.

An entry fee for the car show is set at $25, with proceeds going towards scholarships and other services to Moore High School students.

Parties interested in being a part of the car show are asked to email moorehighalumni@gmail.com.

Anyone wanting to volunteer for the 50th Anniversary Committee is invited to the first committee meeting at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 11, at the Moore Public Library, 225 S. Howard.
