Alleged threat made against Moore High; Suspect in custody

Late Thursday morning, March 9, Moore Public Schools superintendent Robert Romines released a statement concerning an alleged threat made toward Moore High School, 300 N. Eastern, on social media.

Moore police have a suspect in custody according to the statement.

“While the threat did not specify individuals and was non-specific in nature, it was referred to Moore police,” Romines said.

An investigation is ongoing by Moore police.

“As always, we continue to work to make sure our students and staff are protected and safe.”
